TNG is investigating new ways to reduce our ecological impact.  Our bio diesel production facilities will be up and running in Summer 2011 in order to produce a clean-burning, carbon-neutral fuel for our fleet of vehicles.  The fuel will be made from waste vegetable oil (WVO) that has been discarded by local restaurants.  If you are a restaurant in the Bridgewater area and have excess WVO, please contact us to arrange pick-up.

The by-products of this production process are both useful and biodegradable: glycerin, potassium salts, and free fatty acids.  Glycerin has many different applications, including use as a fuel, a soap-making ingredient, and as a stimulator for bio digestion and hot composting.  The potassium salts are a powerful 0-0-50 fertilizer, useful for fruiting and flowering plants.  The free fatty acids are an excellent biodegradable weed-killer.
